Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. What do you focus your eyes on? Are you more focused on worldly things like: money, career, looks, appearances or do you look to Christ? I know people who sink inside themselves, almost depressed like. They can’t live a life full of joy or happiness because too much focus is placed in worldly things and not enough in God. All those things are great but temporary. And it’s not wrong to want them but it can not be our focus. It needs to be God and his will. It’s about submitting to him. Is your focus in the right spot. I think you know the true answer to that!! God knows. We can’t hide from him. So step out in FAITH.  HE IS Calling you!!. Amen

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
1 Corinthians 13:6 NIV

Truth is not what we make it. Gods word is the truth and there is no getting around it, no avoiding it, no alternative interpretations. Truth in love. As Christians we can sometimes make excuses for our wrong doing. This way we don’t have to face the reality of the truth. When we do this we are not embodying True Love. True love finds joy in truth and righteousness. The more we love the truth, the better we can love those around us. Today, accept some truths about yourself where you have not before. As hard as it may be to do so, you will be moving towards true love and therefore will be able to love others with more passion. Amen.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Ones thought life can be ones worst enemy. I have noticed in today’s world people have a very hard time processing feelings. They have a feeling (thought) and there for it must be true. Do you have a hardened heart? I know some who are great people. They are kind, nice and no one suspects they carry around a hard heart. They are filled with bitterness, hurt, fear, and even doubt. They struggle with dealing emotions, dealing with things. Moody. If we let go of all that and let God begin to soften the heart, it is like walking from a dark room into the light. At first it wont be easy, but eventually you begin to see everything much more clear and you won’t need to be in the dark to feel safe anymore. It doesn’t matter who, what, or why caused your hard heart. All that matters is the hard heart keeps you from your path with Christ. It keeps you from true love. Amen.

Why do you put God last in your life? What is keeping you from pursuing Christ as you should? Without a doubt we can all do better. I know I could.  I could read my bible more and I could pray more. There are times when he isnt first in my life and I can tell because my life becomes chaotic and I become less patient. However this passage is not about doing more. It’s simply about knowing God personal way, intimately. Seak you find, ask it will be given, knock and it will open… simple things to do yet we have to be the one to take the first step. It has to be our choice. I know Christian’s who love God yet they can’t take the first steps in trusting Christ. Tust is too hard for them. They dont knock, they don’t seak, and when they ask, it’s only when something isn’t going their way. These Christian’s are filled with bitterness and frustration. I have noticed when God begins to take the back seat in my life, I become bitter, angry and short with others. So I choose to seak him out and put him first in my life. You do the same. Amen.

But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
James 2:18‭-‬19 NIV

Faith in action! Do you say you believe yet you don’t put your trust in the Lord. Do you live out your faith? In some countries you can be arrested for just being Christian. If you were arrested today for being Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict? If Demons can believe in God, how much different are you for just believing. Get involved. Don’t let your faith be without action. Step out in faith…..Amen.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Matthew 5:6 NIV

Today I woke with a thirst for Gods word. The fire is a blaze and I need more. It means, if we want righteousness we will thirst for it like water. We seek it out like we are starving. The more we consume, the fuller we become. Seek out and you will be filled. If you feel empty, if you feel scared, if you doubt, your insecure, you feel lost, your down, sad, lonely, if you feel anything but joy….God the father is the direction for you. It him and only him that will fill you up. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12 NIV

The Lord works in mysterious ways. When we pray for patience. He doesnt give us patience. He puts us in a situation for us to be patient. We pray for wisdom he doesn’t give you the answers. He may put you in a difficult situation relying on wisdom to get out. You pray for strength to make it through hard times and he stacks up even more pressure so you rely on him to get through it. We are blessed because as believers we are never alone. Trials are just life… and life can suck sometimes. However we have an amazing father who is right there with us, always willing to work for our good. All we have to do is ask for his help. Trust and have faith. Amen.

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6:14‭-‬15 NIV

Forgivenss! The foundations of calling ourselves Christian. It is the embodiment of the act of LOVE. Yet so many can not do it. Unforgiveness will lead to a hardened heart and I saw it – I saw “it” in action. I saw unforgiveness and the power it has over kne and the power it takes away from one. Forgiveness is not about letting the wrong doers off the hook. It’s about you and yourself being set free. Free from those who have hurt you. Unforgiveness keeps us down, keeps us from true joy and love… keeps us from happiness and if we cant forgive others then why would God forgive us. So important is forgiveness! If you struggle- PRAY FOR STRENGTH. AMEN.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Ephesians 4:31 NIV

A hardened heart is the result of bitterness, frustration, rage, anger, slander, and malice. A hardend heart makes you incapable of loving to the fullest. A hardend heart keeps distance between you and you loved ones. A hardned heart builds walls and casts doubt on those around you. A hardened heart is a way for satan to work on you. This verse is so powerful, for it is a piece of the foundation for what is to be a Christian. Amen.
