Forgive and Move Forward

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Luke 6:37 NIV

This one passage is probably one of the hardest things for me to do. There are those in my life whom I have not yet truly forgiven. I say I have, but I know deep within my heart there is still anger towards them. If I want to be forgiven I must forgive them, but also if I want joy in my life I must forgive. Forgiveness frees me not them. Their forgiveness is between themselves and God. I want happiness in my life again, I want joy, I want drive. When we live condemning others,  judging others, and not forgiving, we allow for satan to enter our hearts. Slowly and surely he will strip away the good in you and derail you from your walk with jesus. So dont let Satan in, let God be your light. Forgive and move forward. Amen.

Take Delight in the Lord

Take delight in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 NIV

So I had to look up delight, and it means to take great pleasure in something or someone. I had to really think, do I really take great pleasure in the Lord? I mean I love the Lord. Isn’t that delight? I am going to ask you all the same, do you? If I am honest with myself, the answer would have to be a NO. I mean…. I believe, I pray, I go to church, I donate time, I fellowship, so why would I say no? I say no because all those things I do are just me going through the motions. I am just being honest with myself. We all do it sometimes, we just go through the motions. It doesnt make us less but we are not truly experiencing his grace. I know I can do better about imprinting the Lord on my mind, my heart, and my soul. Than I would truly be able to take delight in the Lord and all his grace and love. If you want to be honest with yourself take notice now, and let’s all take delight in him. Amen.

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

Jesus is always there, always present, he is always listening. If we call him he will answer. If we call him he will listen. If we call we need to listen! If we call him he may not answer in the way or timing we hoped and that is often a hard one for me. I have prayed alot over the years, many prayers the same. Very specific prayers for many years. Though they have not been answered I still pray and I still put my faith in him. I have to come to him. I notice when I do not bring my prayers to him life is just not as joyful. So everyone, call to him, drop to your knees and call to him and listen to what he has to say. Your answers in his time in his way. Amen.

Out of Alignment!

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5‭-‬6 NIV

where is your attitude at? If you asked others how would they describe your attitude? We are called to be one mind, one voice. Our attitude and thoughts will reflect that of Christ when we align our hearts with him. Take notice of what is out of alignment and correct it. So that you can be closer to Christ.

Whers your armor?

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Ephesians 6:10‭-‬11 NIV

I am reading Spiritual Warfare Battle Plan, on the bible app. In it it says. “Keep this truth in mind: the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Every demon has the same mission. How they go about it—their strategies and tactics—are different. A spirit of fear attacks your faith, for example, while a spirit of rejection attacks your identity. Satan is strategic. His army is highly organized, and he is sending specific spirits against believers to derail them from their kingdom purpose.”

The attacks that ensue will not come directly at you. A conning advisory will attack you where you dont see it coming. He will trick, a d deceive you. With Satan, he is the master of deception. That is why we must trust only in the word of the Lord and put on the protection he is providing. Amen
